A Real Superhero

ANOTHER DEFINITION OF A HERO is someone who is concerned about other people’s well-being, and will go out of his or her way to help them — even if there is no chance of a reward. That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero.
~~ Stan Lee (RIP 1922-2018)

We live in crazy times and could use more heroes. Though maybe we’ve always lived in crazy times. Who knows? Stan Lee gave us a whole universe of heroes. Who else can you say did that? Not many. Sure they are fantasy, though we identify with them, the hope and dreams of them. If anything, Stan Lee’s stories show heroes as everyday people with everyday problems, just like us. But they do extraordinary things.

We all have some hero in us all, we just need to use it. It’s what we are all striving for in this world, but all too often we forget about it. So today, put on your super suit and let the hero in you shine!

Stan, may Valhalla open its doors to you and may you feast with the heroes!

Excelsior!
