Excellence Of Acting

LIFE IS LIKE A PLAY: IT’S NOT the length, but the excellence of acting that matters. ~~ Seneca

The master thespian had seen many plays in his life. On Broadway and off Broadway. In opulent Opera houses and seedy coffee houses. On small stages and large. Up close and in the round. Inside and outside. Some well written and some done poorly. Well produced and not. Moneyed and thread bare. Seasoned actors and neophytes.

Yes, many variations which could determine their run and success. Plots could be good or bad, and surely that affected the experience. But the one factor that always made the difference, was in how well the actors put themselves into their roles. For those who did that would see further success.
